From the ashes emerges a grub

The "Pastor" of some tin-pot joint called "Catch the Fire Ministries", a certain Danny Nalliah, today blamed Victoria's new, more liberal abortion laws on the fires that have killed 173 people in the State (and counting.)

This cunt says he "woke with a flash from the Spirit of God: that His conditional protection has been removed from the nation of Australia, in particular Victoria, for approving the slaughter of innocent children in the womb."

The only thing I have to say about this, is that it would be a just and fitting irony for the clubhouse of "Catch the Fire Ministries" to catch fire itself, preferably with Pastor Danny trapped inside, on his knees, his pants around his ankles, with the flaming sword of Gideon lodged firmly up his criminal arse.

There is always one isn't there?

By the grace of his religion he is allowed to stand up and proudly say these things without a worry that he will be vilified for it.

Hitchens was right when he said that its not atheists, who, without a god anything is permissible all morals are broken - it's with god that all is permissible!

If this man had come out saying "I'm glad all those people died, they deserved to burn because they were black" or something equally repulsive the whole world would have jumped on him.

But with religion he can say "I am really glad all of those people burned to death because God says abortion is wrong and this is your punishment"!

Laurie, once again my heart and thoughts go out to all those who were affected by all this and my condolences to all who have suffered.

Take care

"173 deaths and counting..."
Brought to you by your kind and loving God.

I am not sure what makes me so angry about this. Perhaps the stupidity of believing something like this is the cause. Maybe it's the twisted logic that somehow makes sense to those with faith blinders on. It could be the lack of decency in the guise of 'righteousness'.

There could be a silver lining in the words of the grub. It may turn thoughtful people away from the sheer nonsense that is religion.

Laurie, I continue to think about you and the people affected by this disaster.

Thanks, Frank - Even though I am not directly affected by this tragedy, I feel terribly affected. These countrymen and woman of mine, children, all snuffed out and the lives of thousands and thousands of people in turmoil. The wishes of my colleagues and friends from around the world, every one an atheist, mean so much more than the vacuous platitudes of spooks and god-botherers. Perhaps it's because all of you good people understand thoroughly, in a way that these others cannot, the depth of the tragedy we are facing. I thank you.

You are right, he is a cunt. We can only assume that he thinks god was right to do this. This makes him a donkey fucking cunt!

Got some friends there that haven't replied to my email, can only hope they are OK. This toss pot'r comments are nothing short of sick misanthopy.

There are others like him too that will see this as justification of a belief system that requires that you shit your brains out your arse. I think an appropriate comment to them would be to tell them to stick their cocks in their ears and go fuck some sense into themselves.

Whoa! Billy! Tell us what you really think!

(Couldn't agree more.)

I wouldn't put it past them to actually send in some no-named zealots to go in and light the fires themselves. Teenagers they plucked off the street, and told to go burn things in the name of God. Who could resist?

Anybody in their right mind wouldn't go and -relight- the fires once the death toll has already begun.

Key word is "Right mind". I can't assume "Catch the Fire"bugs fit under the category.

What an odious, repulsive, despicable, slimy, pathetic little worm.

I hope you and your family are ok Laurie.

I've posted a dissection of a reasonable theologians response to Nalliah on my blog if you're bored.

This guy is a prick, should be told, and all tax funding for his 'church' of hate shit should be removed and he be forced to pay back every last cent that has been received.

If he cannot afford to pay it back, then 4 weeks up on the fire front should do for a start.

(Of course, I might want to pour some petrol on him first to make it more interesting... if God is on his side, he will be OK I am sure)

Lee has nailed it. The only thing these fuckers worship is money - all the rest is a pretence. Withdraw the taxation concession pdq.

Nice post, btw.
