We eat there a lot during the holiday and we got to know them quite well and they seemed to like it that we went there and not to one of the touristy ones that sold tradeeshunal eengleesh brekrfast or genwin feesh and cheeps.  It was my birthday and chef made a big effort and produced a wonderful pud (on the house) for me.  We found such generosity and courtesy all over the place in Turkey.  During the pud, someone pulled a goat out into the gutter in front of the restaurant and slit its throat.
